About Conference
The MITTO Youth Conference is an annual, youth-led event bringing together young people from across Sydney to connect, share ideas, and hear from inspiring speakers on issues that matter most to youth.
Fully organised by Mitto volunteers, the conference is designed to empower attendees, develop leadership skills, and inspire action in their communities.

YOUTH CONFERENCE OVERVIEW
Youth Conference is a dynamic platform designed to amplify the voices of the next generation. Gathering at the Sydney Park Pavilion on Saturday, 21 November, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, this event is your opportunity to speak on issues that matter to you, connect with and hear from inspiring young leaders, and meet directly with community representatives.
All young people under the age of 23 are eligible to apply.
Speaker applications opened on 16 July at 3:00 PM and will close on 30 August at 11:59 PM.

APPLICATION REVIEW PROCESS
1. All expressions of interest will be read thoroughly by our conference team, shortlisting applicants.
2. All speakers are required to join an online meeting, where a second round of review will take place.
3. Successful applicants will be notified, and all applicants will need to confirm their attendance.
Emerging Leaders and Advocates Stream
The Mitto Project has launched an extended pathway designed exclusively for high school students who have received a direct school invitation or learned about YC26 through their school channels.
Through this stream, selected speakers gain a platform to build public speaking confidence, present on pressing social issues, and network with youth leaders and community representatives across New South Wales.
Sydney high school students, school leaders, SRC members, and emerging youth advocates applying via school referral or school bulletin notices are eligible.
Applications for this pathway close strictly on September 10 at 11:59 PM.
Please note, due to venue capacity and schedule limits, submitting an application does not guarantee selection as a speaker.
Look Back at YC25
Our September 2025 Youth Conference welcomed 20 young change-makers who shared their voices on a range of important issues.
We thank the 2025 cohort and all our guests for their participation, and extend a special thanks to Councillor Susai Benjamin and the Member for Balmain, Kobi Shetty, for their support.
