OUR STORY
On any given night, more than 120,000 individuals in Australia are experiencing homelessness. The Mitto Project – established in March of 2025 – is a group of passionate youth volunteers dedicated to providing immediate relief to those in need through handmade care packages and handwritten notes of support.
As a youth-led, not-for-profit organization, we focus on supporting Sydney’s homeless and underprivileged communities. Our volunteers deliver care packages that contain nutritious food, hygiene essentials, and first aid supplies, ensuring those facing difficulty have access to essential items.
At the heart of our project is a commitment to offering more volunteering opportunities for high school and university students. Through meaningful volunteering events we allow young people to build relationships, take action, and create a lasting change.
